For 2011, the NIKE Showcase has adjusted their schedule and will run from Monday, July 10, 2011 thru Friday, July
15, 2011.
We assume that Monday, July 10 will be a "check-in/registration" date and that play will begin on Tuesday,
July 11. Some other changes to the tournament beginning this year include:
- to increase competitiveness, decreasing the number of participating teams by 25%.
This will mean that more than 80 teams will be eliminated from competing.
- eliminating the 8:00AM start games and 7:30PM ending games;
first games will start at 9:30AM and last games at 6:15PM
-increasing the game guarantee to 6 games, with 7 possible.
Each team will be guaranteed 3 pool and 3 bracket games.
-for flexibility in scheduling, coaches will be able to select the start time of their first
game - either July 11 in the afternoon or July 12 in the morning

We
are in the process of negotiating Hotel accomodations and will post that information as soon as it becomes available.
Tickets
for the 2011 Summer Showcase are available for purchase at all venues. Cost is $10 per day for adults and $5 per day for children,
students, and seniors, and are valid for all games at all venues on the specified date. A five-day tournament pass (valid
July 11-15) is $35 for adults and $20 for children, students, and seniors. A four day tournament pass (valid July 12-15) is
$30 for adults and $15 for children, students, and seniors.
