Purple Aces Basketball is a highly respected grassroots basketball program in Wisconsin for girls in the Fifth Grade through High School Junior. Our goal is to develop the player's basketball skills while teaching teamwork, respect, time management, dedication, friendship, and communication - all while enjoying the experiences of the Purple Aces.

Players will participate on traveling teams that will play in highly competitive tournaments. We focus on having our teams play the best competition in their particular age group when competing. Many of these tournaments are National Tournaments and attract many college coaches looking for recruits. We beleive we provide girls and families with the best balance of development, affordability and exposure opportunities to play in front of college coaches and ultimately be recruited or offered scholarships to play collegiately.

Mark Demerath, is the founder of the Purple Aces Basketball Program which started in 1994. We are a "not-for-profit" organization with all of our coaches volunteering their time and talents. This makes the Purple Aces unique in that most other clubs have paid coaches and directors. We work with players who dream to play basketball collegiately to achieve a maximum learning experience with a focus on improving their basketball and team skills with an eye toward the future. Our tournament participation is carefully chosen to provide the best competitive atmosphere from the 5th Grade level through High School. Our High School level teams (Eight Graders, Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors) participate in "College Exposure" tournaments such as the USJN Windy City Classic, USJN Nationals in Washington D.C., NIKE Showcase in Chicago, Louisville - Run 4 the Roses, and the Minnesota North Tartan Summer Jam and Meltdown with a focus on "showcasing" our players before the many NCAA coaches in attendance. If you are serious about playing basketball at the next level - - we would like to help you realize that dream!
